only 7 months old & could not yet consume a salami sandwich caked in
mayo.My mom ordered a $10.00 salad that was nothing more than brown
iceberg with bleu cheese. On the flight back, l decided to buy on board
because the breakfast option sounded appetizing only to discover the
airline only offers a limited number of meals & once they got toward the
back of the plane where we were sitting, they had sold out.

had not flown domestically in several years, so l had no idea this is what
the airlines are doing.Anyone else find it offensive that this is how they
treat their customers?
IANSAND-
Yes of course l can go 4 hours
without eating. It is the principle- l spent $1000 on airline tickets for
us & this is the best they offer? Not to mention charging for it!

also failed to mention that security mad me throw out my daughters baby
food, so can you imagine a baby going this many hours without a meal?/>

Airlines have had to cut out a lot of expenses such as full
peanut butter and jelly <3
service meals. Part of the reason is because we as the flying public want

Right now, people just either bring their own food on-board or eat before
boarding. As for security throwing out the baby food, I am sorry to hear
that. You are not allowed to bring liquids over 3.0 ounces. I think
breast-milk is an exception.

The airlines are still losing money so the employees have low morale right
now. Many of them have had to take a steep pay-cut or risk getting
laid-off.

I would write a complaint letter to the airline describing the

bad experiences. Or take another airline next time, maybe you have better

luck.

dont balme the flight attendents, or the airlines entirely. The
skittales
flight attendents generally get abused & ignored by bad passengers who

the airlines then deal with all the complants & what can you expect them
to do? cusotmers treat them like crap, so they respond.

I never eat any fruit or salad from the airlines. I will only eat there
hot food, & the other things like chocolate, cheese etc.

next time you should do some research into the airlines that you can fly
with & pick the best for what you need.

It sonded like you had a bad flight; & that does happen to everyone. But
when so many treat airlines like rat poo, what can the rest of us expect?

Unfortunately airline food is not healthy. After many years I

The best idea is to take ur own sandwiches on bored half the time this is

far cheaper & tastier option,

about security taking ur infant food, that is unusal, they will usually
allow it or make you taste it to make sure it isn't contaminated, but they
will only allow enough for ur flights duration.

in future make sure security are aware that you have a lengthy flight & ur
child needs to be fed or that the airport has a location to buy baby food,.

you can prevent this by booking ur flight online & going to
Dodo
flight prefreneces & then selecting ''meal options'' & tell them that you

are vegetarian, or whatever the case may be.

i also would like to correct what someone said ealier.. You cannot bring

ur own food onto the plane unless you purchase it at the airport AFTER you
come through security. If you try to take any form of liquid through
security it will be confiscated & thrown out. You CAN however buy a drink
or whatever from the gift shops & things AFTER you go through security &
carry that on the plane with you.

I am sorry to hear about that. An airline should focus more on

the likes & dislikes of the passenger. In ur case, you're vegetarian. If

will be a problem. In my opinion, if this is to happen again, tell the

airlines. They should have a customer satisfaction hotline; tell them what

you experienced.

In my opinion, it isn't offensive since they're not intentionally doing it
but it shows how poor their service is. If the customer satisfaction
hotline doesn't help or even exist, which is pretty sad to say, then
switch airlines. You deserve a better airline which caters to ur needs as
well as everyone elses around you.

You can bring your own food and drink on board. Wait until the

plane is flying before you eat and drink your own. They cannot chase you

out from the plane. Or have a meal at the airport just before taking off.
